Hello from Endeavoring!

Here it is, faithful readers - the moment of truth is upon is. This is the issue of Endeavoring you've all been waiting patiently for with bated breath. That's right! The votes have been tallied, and we are proud to announce the winners of our 4th annual Trick Our Truck Contest!

The annual contest, which began 4 years ago to commemorate the anniversary of the Endeavoring newsletter, invites readers to take Endeavor's squishy van and decorate it in creative and exciting ways, with a slew of great prizes at stake! Our expert Endeavor panel whittled down the multitude of entries and revealed the top 10 finalists which were voted on by you, our loyal readers. Here we are, proudly revealing this year's winners in the Spotlight section below!

Thanks to all those who participated in this year's contest, during which we've received the most fun and creative entries to date! We also want to thank all of our supportive readers who have helped make Endeavoring such a grand success over the last 4 years. We're looking forward to many more!

As announced in the June edition of Endeavoring, Endeavor's FE Engagement Committee recently issued a comprehensive survey to each Field Engineer (FE), geared toward gaining insight into the primary concerns experienced in the field day in and day out. For survey participants who opted to provide their contact information, a random drawing was held for 5 AMEX gift cards worth $50. We'd like to recognize the winners now:

The FE Engagement Committee was formed to proactively address FE concerns by soliciting feedback and implementing more efficient, streamlined operational processes to make life easier. In fact, the committee has already initiated a new process based on feedback from the field that allows FEs to communicate with TAC regarding estimated arrival times to job sites via text messaging. The committee is excited about tackling similar projects in the very near future that will provide further support for our valued Field Engineers.

Without further ado, we are pleased to announce the winners of our 4th annual Trick Our Truck contest!!!

Our 3rd place winner has the Endeavor van in the center of the action, atop an aircraft carrier that's proudly waving the red, white, and blue. The wooden components appear to be painstakingly whittled by hand, with the blue and gray hand-painted wood serving to highlight the Endeavor logo. The 3rd place winner will receive a $100 AMEX gift card.

The 2nd place winner may very well have been submitted by a classically-trained painter, as it features a beautifully rendered peacock, its exotic plumage spreading over the squishy van's exterior. The vibrant oranges, greens, and blues catch the eye, producing an almost 3D effect to anyone lucky enough to behold this artistic entry. The prize for 2nd place is a $250 AMEX gift card.

This year's 1st place winner captures the patriotic spirit of Endeavor's team, based out of the United States, using iconic images such as the Liberty Bell and a bald eagle soaring through the sky. Our first place winner will receive 2 round-trip tickets on Delta airlines!
