Hello from Endeavor!
Spring is finally here and the office is buzzing with excitement both because the nicer weather has helped promote some fun company activities and because Endeavor has recently embarked upon a variety of new growth initiatives. For more details regarding Endeavor's springtime activities check out the press release on the staff's participation in the 3rd annual ING Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon included in the company news section, as well as the company spotlight section which contains an article further elaborating about Endeavor's springtime goings-on.
Also included this month is a release that expounds upon a topic alluded to in last month's edition that details the opportunities on the horizon for Endeavor thanks to programs created by the stimulus bill geared toward increasing broadband infrastructure in rural and other underserved areas. Other opportunities will arise with Endeavor's attendance of the CTIA Wireless 2009 tradeshow and conference which takes place April 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Enjoy this month's edition and the warm springtime weather!

Despite diligently performing the sometimes stressful and always demanding daily duties associated with driving the operations of an aggressively growing company, the Endeavor staff is still finding time to work on personal goals as well as enjoy the much welcomed spring weather.
With a staff so focused on the success of the company, it is often far too easy for them to lose focus on their own personal well-being. Endeavor management, in coordination with Endeavor's Corporate Culture Committee, has made the fitness of its staff a major initiative in 2009. To that end, the staff has taken advantage of the spring sunshine while outside the office to get fit and de-stress.
At the close of last year, Endeavor CEO Justin McLain issued a challenge to the operations staff that if fifteen Endeavorers would complete a half (13.1 miles) or full (26.2 miles) marathon by the end of Q1, 2009, he would run the full marathon painted blue. On Sunday, March 29th, 16 members of the Endeavor TAC team participated in and completed the 3rd annual ING Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon which began at Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta, ran through many of Atlanta's neighborhoods, and concluded by CNN center. Several others took part in a 5K run the day before at Grant Park. The team trained for 21 weeks accumulating a combined total of 3,054 miles while keeping track of individual weekly performance on a chart displayed in the ops center staff common room. Honoring his promise to the staff, Justin McLain completed the full marathon covered head-to-toe in "Endeavor blue" paint. The full details of Team Endeavor at the ING are in a press release issued March 31st, 2009.

Also, Endeavor has formed its own co-ed softball team in hopes that a cohesive team in the workplace translates into on-field chemistry. So far it has, with the team winning its first game 5-4, thanks to the winning RBI by Service Provisioning Coordinator, Matt Howard, and the winning run scored by Sales Engineer, Daniel Benesh. Coached by Craig Coogler, a baseball enthusiast and member of Endeavor's Recruiting team (who you will also notice was selected as Staffer of the Month for March), the team is optimistic for continued success while relishing the opportunity to have fun, stay fit, and enjoy fellowship with other staffers.
With the ING Georgia Marathon completed and softball season underway, springtime is now in full swing as chilly days have given way to more temperate climates. While the Endeavor staff will continue to pursue different activities to remain active outside the office, including their bid for a perfect season on the softball field, the atmosphere inside the office is likewise lively and energetic as the team's combined efforts will continue to pave the way for a successful year.
