Slow Economy, Stimulus Package, and Unemployment Are Good for Endeavor's Continued Growth

Endeavor has seen an influx in demand by companies looking to save expense and hedge risk by outsourcing operations functions. To meet this demand, Endeavor recently announced a program specifically designed to assist customers looking to reduce fixed costs and provide opportunity for displaced employees. In addition to capitalizing on the slow down, future opportunity at Endeavor Telecom is apparent in analyzing the details of the Stimulus Package.

The newest Endeavor service program combines the full portfolio of Endeavor's service offerings into a comprehensive package that will prove very advantageous to companies looking to decrease overhead during the economic crunch. In regards to field service dispatches, Endeavor's variable cost model enables customers to pay only for actual labor completed in the field as opposed to maintaining fixed cost labor resources. Qualified program participants may also utilize Endeavor's logistics offerings for the storage, configuration, and shipping of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) in addition to returns/reverse logistical support, all of which substantially reduce costs associated with both real estate and labor. Additionally, the Endeavor Technical Access Center (TAC) can serve as program participants' test & accept facility to validate successful installs without the need for customer staffing. Customer overflow calls can also be routed to Endeavor TAC during slower times or volume spikes, eliminating the need for unnecessary staffing during lower volume periods, overtime costs, and additional staffing during project peaks. The program also has the benefit of offering employment and contracting opportunities to select misplaced employees for customers in transition, as well as longer payment terms and no cost API integration to qualified customers.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the $787 billion economic stimulus package that recently passed through Congress, also bodes well for Endeavor's continued growth. For example, the stimulus bill includes $7.2 billion dedicated to the development of broadband infrastructure. This figure will have numerous applications in increasing broadband access to rural and other underserved areas. The legislated infrastructure development will increase demand of Endeavor's customer base of broadband access providers who utilize Endeavor's team of over 9,000 field engineers for implementation. Likewise much of the infrastructure development will be geared toward wireless access, which happens to be an area of expertise for Endeavor, and overlays nicely with Endeavor's investment in wireless test equipment and engineers versed in wireless technologies. Another component of the stimulus package includes $19 billion toward the modernizing of medical technology systems in the health care industry, related to transitioning from paper filing systems. This too presents new avenues for Endeavor and its customer base as health care groups will seek to migrate toward IP enabled storage solutions and managed services.

One other benefit of the current economic situation actually stems from increasing unemployment rates. The increase in unemployment has allowed Endeavor's recruiting team to quickly staff up more seasoned professionals to an already top notch pool of field engineers. This provides tangible benefits to customers who take advantage of Endeavor's proven quality and variable cost rate for their installation and maintenance dispatches.

All in all, it is apparent that Endeavor will thrive not only despite but as a result of the economy. With its new program devoted to assisting customers in weathering the financial storm, the opportunities provided by the stimulus bill, and an ever-growing roster of high-level field engineers, it's good business for Endeavor and its efforts as the leading provider of outsourced professional services.
