ENDEAVOR CREATES FORMAL PROGRAM FOR POINT-OF-SALE (POS), DIGITAL SIGNAGE, KIOSK, AND SPECIALTY NETWORK EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION SERVICES

We further expanded our portfolio of white label, outsourced installation services to include specific programs for installing POS systems, digital signage, kiosks, and specialty network equipment. For full details click here.

As detailed in the two press releases issued in conjunction with this month’s edition of Endeavoring, some very exciting things are happening at Endeavor – the creation of specific installation service programs for A/C power lines and specialty network equipment such as Point-of-Sales (POS), kiosks, and digital signage technologies. These new programs will not only serve as an enhancement to the breadth of service offerings available to existing partners but will also lead to fruitful alliances with new customers who specialize in these areas.

While Endeavor has completed multiple project rollouts involving these service types, the recently announced programs are designed specifically to engage and service companies whose core focus lie in technologies outside telecom-based services. Sectors of the business development and sales engineering teams will be devoted specifically to developing relationships with and designing project specifications for customers specializing in digital signage/kiosk media and POS implementation. Beyond the enhancement of the sales organization, Endeavor’s Field Engineers and operations staff are receiving additional training in these technologies and the major manufacturers utilized in their implementation.

For many installation projects and customer rollouts which involve POS and digital signage services, a necessary and sometimes irritating step requires customers to have two or more separate installation vendors’ appointments coordinated to ensure as little down time as possible. One appointment is for the activation of the broadband connection, and one or more additional dispatches are required for the installation and integration of the other specialized equipment for POS or digital signage deployment.

The coordination of multiple technician dispatches can often lead to delays in the amount of time the services are up and running, which in turn prevents customers from billing their end-users in a timely manner. Additionally, the amount of time and effort spent coordinating the dispatches with the circuit providers, CPE installers, and electrical line installers should be better utilized in other venues for Endeavor’s customers such as sales and business development.

That’s where the value of Endeavor’s new service programs really have an impact for customers – the all-in-one package for outsourced professional installation services. Not only can Endeavor’s Field Technicians install the traditional voice/data access lines at a customer premise, but they can also install, configure, and test network and POS equipment and applications, and install any other specialty network equipment required onsite such as digital signage, kiosk, or security cameras. As if that weren’t enough, Endeavor is now able to provide qualified customers with licensed and bonded electricians who can provide power for these devices.

Overall Endeavor is looking forward to offering these services to companies across a diverse range of specialties and to developing new friendships and alliances. With continued expansion, Endeavor may have to remove the “Telecom” from its nickname “Telecom Truck Roll Company” in order to accurately reflect its expanded service offerings, though that may be a problem to look forward to.
