ENDEAVOR TELECOM ANNOUNCES ELECTRICAL (A/C) POWER INSTALLATION SERVICE
New Service Expands Endeavor's Service Portfolio to Add Value for Qualified Customers to Power their CPE
Atlanta, GA - April 28, 2008 - Endeavor, the Telecom Truck Roll Company for carriers, service providers, VARs, and equipment manufacturers, today announced that it has launched a new A/C Power Installation service to enhance its existing service portfolio of telecom equipment installation services, low-voltage telecommunications wiring, order fulfillment logistics services, and technical support programs.
Endeavor's new A/C Power Installation service complements the company's existing business of installing network cabling for access lines and data networks. It addresses a vital step of installing A/C power lines in conjunction with the networking, digital signage, and related customer premise equipment that requires power facilities which may not be pre-existing.
"We are not looking to compete with the local electrician; this A/C Power Installation service is a necessary next step for Endeavor as it complements our existing services by eliminating the need for qualified customers to hire and manage outside vendors to power the equipment required for their solutions," said Endeavor Telecom CEO, Justin McLain. Over the last two years, Endeavor's business has expanded beyond traditional telecom voice and data installations, to include more retail engagements which feature networked POS systems and various forms of CPE such as digital signage. According to industry analysts, the POS market, estimated at $6 billion annually, is expanding rapidly, due in part to enhanced POS functionality and advancements in touch-screen liquid crystal display technology, which increase efficiency and help to reduce overall merchant costs.
As part of this A/C Power Installation service, Endeavor is expanding its North American field organization of more than 9,000 certified technicians through a partner network of individually licensed and bonded electricians. This service will be made available only as a complement to Endeavor's traditional field services and to just those customers who meet certain minimum volume requirements.
